Did You Pack Your IKON Pass?

If you’re a frequent skier or snowboarder, using an IKON Pass is a lifesaver. The pass gives you access to 41 destinations; including Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain, and Bear Mountain. Some destinations listed in the IKON Pass include extra services such as skipping lift lines. Contact your destination before arrival for information on their IKON Pass holder benefits.

  Mammoth Mountain Snowboarding and Skiing

Mammoth Mountain is officially open for the season! Hop on the highest chairlift accessible ski resort in California, which stands at 11,053 feet, and get ready to shred the fresh snow. This steep, vertical drop allows for many different types of terrain. The lower mountain’s chairlifts lead to smooth runs through towering Jeffrey and Lodgepole pine trees while the upper mountain’s chairlifts offer access to exposed steeps and rocky routes. The ski resort boasts a variety of terrain suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all skill sets. There are roughly 150 named trails, 11 terrain parks, and 3,500 acres of rideable terrain for you to explore with 25 percent of the runs rated for beginners! If you’re not ready to ride on your own, opt for Mammoth Mountain lessons. The professional staff will help boost your confidence and progress you to more challenging terrain.

After your day on the slopes,  grab a bite to eat at the Main Lodge. There are a variety of dining options and bars to choose from inside, such as Broadway Marketplace’s classic grab and go options; Green V’s vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options; and, Sundeck BBQ on the weekends. Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort’s food is so delicious that even the pickiest eaters will be happy!
