When Will Mammoth Mountain Close in 2023?

With 600-800 inches of snow this season, Mammoth Mountain will be open for skiing and riding at least until July 4th this year! Yup, that’s right, you can ski at California’s best resort into the summer season. Mammoth Mountain has some of the deepest  snow of any ski area in the Northern Hemisphere and is renowned for its fantastic spring skiing conditions. 

Remember that the Main Lodge will be open until the end of the ski season, but Eagle and Canyon Lodges will close in mid-April.

However, if you prefer soft and slower conditions, wait to hit the slopes later in the morning. Make sure to wear sunscreen, keep hydrated, dress in layers, and have fun!
