Independence Day is a popular weekend to visit Mammoth Lakes. Many people make Snowcreek Resort their summer home because of all the exciting activities and spectacular summer weather we have here in the Eastern Sierra. We also encourage you to hit the slopes as we offer one of the longest skiing seasons in the US! Fourth of July at Mammoth MountainBegin your day with a hearty breakfast at the annual Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, one of the oldest 4th of July traditions here in Mammoth Lakes. You won't want to miss this tasty breakfast, which includes coffee, orange juice, sausage, and unlimited pancakes. Head up to Mammoth Mountain for some July turns before staking out your seat on the parade route. Watch the floats pass by before enjoying a traditional all-American cookout. While you're feasting on hot-off-the-grill burgers and hotdogs, enjoy live music in the plaza. The Village at Mammoth will host fun events throughout the week, from rubber ducky and Chihuahua races to kids activities and so much more. The fireworks show will conclude our Independence Day celebrations, so gather around Crowley Lake for a front row seat to watch the pyrotechnics.
