A Mammoth Lakes Area Brewery Guide
On your visit to Snowcreek Resort, you’re going to receive a first-hand experience of mountain living. Our resort places you among a viriety outdoor activities that are sure to tire you out by day’s end. What better way to return to your accommodations and relax than with an ice-cold craft beer? Luckily for you, there are an abundance of breweries near Mammoth Lakes that are worthy of a visit (or two), even if you only have the option for pick-up. Without further ado, here are a few of our favorite Mammoth Lakes breweries.
Mammoth Brewing CompanyCrafting beers since 1995, Mammoth Brewing Company has been a local pioneer in the craft beer game. Offering seven original beers and a series of rotating seasonals, you’re bound to find something that feels right to your taste buds. “MBC” offers growlers, bottles, and 32-ounce beer cans for pick-up, as well as food from its restaurant, The Eatery at Mammoth Brewing Company.
Distant BrewingNot in the mood for beer? No worries, Distant Brewing has a lot more to offer than just beer. Along with their featured house beers, Distant also features a rotation of guest beers as well as wine and ciders. And you can stay and drink in the atmosphere of their socially-distanced barrel garden!
June Lake BrewingIf you plan to head to Yosemite National Park, make sure to take a pit stop at June Lake Brewing. Much of their beer sits on the stronger end of the spectrum, which is perfect for enjoying in the comfort of your own space! Simply order ahead and sample their offerings from the comfort of your own vacation rental.
Bonus: Shelter DistillingAs a bonus inclusion to our list, we felt we couldn’t omit Shelter Distilling. Unique among the aforementioned Mammoth Lakes breweries, there’s no denying that Shelter is a jack of all trades. Featuring the likes of housemade spirits, including vodka, whiskey, and rum, they also brew their own craft beer, offer canned cocktails, and even have hand-sanitizer available for purchase!
